This workshop will cover how to make intricate cuttings even if you have little or no artistic talent. Processing reactance and recognizing it is one of the most difficult and misunderstood elements of authority exchange relationships. It can often be the cause of the dissolution of a relationship and each party is completely unaware of it.

Because, as the Talmud teaches, “We don’t see things as they are, we see things as we are,” relationships of all types are often rife with projection. If such projection goes unrecognized and unaddressed, then alienation, isolation and, ultimately, dissolution of the relationship is the result. In the case of an M/s relationship, the slave projects his or her ideas, feelings and attitudes regarding authority figures onto the Master, and if that projection includes anger, fear, blame or guilt, the toll it takes on both the relationship and the Master’s self-esteem can be tremendous. But not every day is going to be a good day; life’s impacts, stresses, obligations to work and family, and many other challenges can raise negative emotional dynamics that can result in expressions of anger or resentment. “Now What?” addresses ways to deal with those moments where our intentions, goals, weaknesses, egos, emotions and baggage can get in the way of our relationships; where they get the better of us, and place the M/s dynamic to a severe test.
