Welcome to South Plains Leatherfest & International Master/slave Weekend 2014!

The theme of South Plains Leatherfest-International Master/slave Weekend is “We will not forget.” During the SPLF-IM/s Weekend we will remember our history and traditions, celebrate the present, and look forward to the future. Whether you’re interested in Master/slave relationships or cutting edge SM or both, you’ll find what you’re looking for at South Plains Leatherfest-International Master/slave Weekend in Dallas, Texas on March 7 – March 9, 2014.

We know that when people come home to South Plains they want to return to family and activities they remember and love, but they also get excited about making new friends and having new experiences. For South Plains 2014, as always, we will strive to provide an exceptional offering of presenters, new and cutting-edge Leather/BDSM and M/s workshops, exciting special events, and hot play parties. But no matter what we do for 2014, the most important part of South Plains will always be the people - gay, straight, and transgender – Daddy/boy, Daddy/girl, Tops, bottoms, Master and slaves, Dominants and submissives - who attend. Yes, we provide the foundation for South Plains with a weekend full of activity, but it’s the people who make South Plains home. So come on home to South Plains -- the light is always on for you.

25th Anniversary of the International Master/slave Title

In 2014, we will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the International Master/slave title. International Master/slave is the title the third longest International title in existence behind only International Mr. Leather and International Ms. Leather. We will celebrate the 25th anniversary throughout the weekend, but there will be two highlights: the International Master/slave Contest Saturday night and the unveiling of a Leather Archives & Museum exhibit about the history and growth of the title.

South Plains has owned and produced the title and contest since 2003 and we are very proud to host the 25th anniversary celebration. At the same time, we know that title and contest are part of the broader leather/BDSM community. So rest assured, all the other components of South Plains – workshops, special events, play parties – will remain a central part of the event in 2014.

Never Been to South Plains?

Every year about 30 percent of the people attending South Plains are there for the first time and for significant number of those new family members, South Plains is their first Leather/BDSM/M-s event ever. So don’t worry if you are a first-timer. You will be welcomed, make new friends, have a great weekend, and, who knows-- you may just find that you’ve come home!
